SpaceX was awarded a formal NASA contract in 2008. In October 2012, the SpaceX dragon spacecraft delivered cargo to the International Space Station, ushering in a new era of private space flight. At present, SpaceX has done eight experiments, which can make it return to its original position after lifting off 1000 meters. However, it will take some time for this technology to be put into practice. The former headquarters was El Segundo, California, and later moved to Hawthorne, the same state.
